Franksy’s no-nonsense rap delivery drives ‘Cult Of Bass’, its undeniable UK energy cutting through pulsing basslines and textured synths, while a hypnotic lead enters the mix to take things to the next level. Cult Of Bass started as an obsession with a specific bass timbre; I must have spent about six hours just shaping that one element before anything else even existed around it. When Lee brought in Franksy’s vocals, everything just clicked.
