A year on from their debut appearance on Repopulate Mars with their ‘Ring Ring’ cut on the label’s long-running ‘Repopulate Stars’ V/A compilation, UK selectors Elijah & Grundy return for their first solo release on Lee Foss’ acclaimed imprint once again alongside regular collaborator and fellow Leeds-based artist WILLOW STAR. Known for releases on the likes of Snatch!, Solid Grooves Raw, and CUFF, the rising duo have cultivated a unique sound that mixes up minimal-leaning grooves with hooky vocals.
Between them, these three artists have crafted a sure-fire hit with ‘Take Me To The Club’ , a moody yet uplifting house cut with razor-sharp drum programming. A zig-zagging bassline and acid-tinged synths combined with WILLOW STAR’s heady mix of French and English vocals make this a proper heads-down, hands-up club belter.
