A well-loved figure within the global underground and a long-standing name on the international club and festival circuit, Italian house mainstay Leon makes his first appearance on Factory 93 Records with his latest single, ‘The Snake’ – a highly anticipated production that has caught fire in recent months after becoming a standout moment in Chris Stussy’s Coachella set at the iconic Yuma tent earlier this year.

Known for his finely tuned DJ sets and releases on influential imprints such as Cocoon, Hot Creations and Crosstown Rebels, Leon’s arrival on the West Coast label is a fitting next chapter in a career defined by both consistency and evolution. Drawing on the roots of his early influences, notably Todd Terry, ‘The Snake’ channels classic New York house energy with a contemporary twist. Built around a chunky, swung groove, the track is driven by warped, rubbery slap bass and hazy vocal chops, with sharp drum programming and just the right amount of attitude. It’s a club cut that balances the minimal edges of tech house with the bumpy textures of golden-era US house, a style Leon has made his own over more than a decade behind the decks.
Holding long-time residencies at iconic spots like Cocoricò and Marco Carola’s Music On, Leon continues to bridge generations and genres, and with ‘The Snake’, he lands on Factory 93 with purpose as he serves up one of the moment’s hottest records
Leon ‘The Snake’ drops via Factory 93 on 18th July 2025.
