Australian producer Sam Litchfield has been releasing music under his Litche alias for a few years now now, but a s he continues to explore new musical styles and genres, Sam has found he is now creating some music that warrants fresh beginnings.
He is currently sitting on a tidy collection of new music that showcases this newfou nd creative territory of electronica mixed with breaks and bass infusions , and this week he is excited to be launching his new project alias “Tim Sun” , along with its first single, ‘Passerby’.
“A lot of my inspiration comes from spending time in nature and also while driving. That’s when I get most of my creative ideas. I have a large sausage dog named Harley, and we go on big runs at the beach or in the bushland near my house. While running, I usually listen to high – energy experimental electronic music, and I often come home with new musical ideas. The music I have been making has naturally been reflecting these runs and the uplifting ‘runner’s high’ type feeling I get while doing so.
Tim Sun is a new chapter for my creative journey. I feel as though I h ave outgrown the previous ‘Litche’ project, and Tim Sun will be my new alias going forward, providing an opportunity to explore new creative territory. ” ~ Sam Litchfield
