Their label debut, ‘Blessings’, emerges as a meeting of instinct and intention. Crafted from Liva K’s fusion of sounds and textures, the track flows with captivating suspense, while OVEOUS’ voice carries a magnetic, ritualistic weight. The result is a record that exists in both body and mind, designed to move crowds while resonating on a deeper, spiritual plane.
“‘Blessings’ is a special record for me as I’ve been following Crosstown Rebels since the very beginning,” says Liva K. “It’s always been an iconic label in our scene, a true tastemaker that pushes boundaries while keeping soul at the centre. Working with OVEOUS felt natural, and his voice carries real depth. There’s power, message, and a spiritual weight to what he does. ‘Blessings’ is about energy, intention, and elevation. It’s driving, it’s deep, but it also has that timeless, soulful edge. Releasing it on Crosstown just feels right.”
OVEOUS adds: “This collaboration with Liva K came with such ease. I was in Ibiza when he sent me the rough draft. I booked a studio session by myself – no engineers, no friends – only me. I turned on the mic and let the words flow through me. Nothing was written. It was all a Blessing that came to me. The song represents the energy that the universe provides when you are in alignment with your higher self. Liva K is so talented and a pleasure to work with. Editing the final track together was truly exciting as we both knew we had a really special record that we just made.”
