On the new single, longstoryshort says: “‘2 High’ pays homage to early dance music that helped me fall in love with the genre. The time when it was a really minimal version of trance that evolved to progressive house. It’s nostalgic, to me, and I wanted to create something that is a nod to that golden era of dance that has influenced my career.”
Hadar adds on: “It was lovely working with longstoryshort! We had so much fun creating this feeling. It came super naturally and felt like a big song the moment we started. The inspiration we had was how it feels when you’re almost too high on a feeling and you don’t wanna come down because you feel the most alive. I’m so excited to be sharing this with the world with such an amazing producer and DJ.”
Having featured on BBC Radio 1 with Annie Nightingale and drawing support from BPM and Diplo’s Revolution (Sirius XM), longstoryshort is on a flight path to the moon. He’ll be providing direct support for SAYMYNAME at Vanguard Orlando, as well as hosting a headline show at San Francisco’s Monarch.
With a vocal range not too dissimilar to pop titans Arianna Grande and Lady Gaga, Hadar Adora has enjoyed success with a series of wins on the board with her infectious singles “Temper” and “Patience,” which were featured in NBA 2k21 and Amazon’s series ‘HARLEM,’ respectively.
