Sam Battle, aka LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER closes out the year with his cathartic new single Time Is Not A Healer It’s A Fuel for Resentment. The latest release from the renowned musician, innovator and maker is an upbeat melancholic indie ballad that finds him at his most contemplative.

This is a song I have been humming for a while, I initially made

up the riff when making the furby organ, and played it in the

furby organ video but to me it was always this song I was playing. I wrote it in a lonely place in me life, no idea what it’s actually

about but I have my ideas haha! Only sad times you can write

tunes like this I think! I made it on my home made synth and an

old analog polyphonic synth to make it fit with my other tunes

even though this one is a tad more on the emotional end of it all.” Speaking about the accompanying video, Sam says:

“We went to the woods at sunrise but we just missed it because I spent an hour in the morning trying to figure out a bow tie. We

shot it to make it look as believable as we could it being a low

budget music video from 1986 including power stances and arm waves. All the good stuff”

Just in time for Christmas shopping, Look Mum No Computer has also released Kosmo Comes for Christmas, a vinyl version of a livestream he recorded during lockdown Christmas in 2020 that has since become a staple during the festive season. Available as a standalone product or as a bundle with newly commissioned merch, Kosmo Comes for Christmas is sure to be a hit for the music lover in your life.
