Mark Johns – Break Your Heart

The breezy and melodious qualities of Naomi Abergel’s, aka Mark Johns, voice reappear in her latest track, “Break Your Heart.” The track’s low key, organic sound pairs very nicely with the opening chords which quickly morph into a lo-fi R&B beat. The palpable sense of longing the track conjures will make you want to hold a loved one close to your heart. Abergel was the first solo vocalist signed to Skrillex’s OWSLA label. Born to Moroccan parents in Canada and raised in Singapore, she started performing covers while attending college in Miami and uploaded them to SoundCloud.
