On the heels of his first release on Seeking Blue Records with “Call On You,” the American – born producer Mario Pedron, also known as MarMar, follows up with his release of “Try,” featuring LUUNG.
“Try” is an introspective track, written at a time when Mario was adjusting to his new life in a faraway land. The track combines MarMar’s catchy and groovy production with Luung’s hopeful lyrics.
“The song shares themes of longing and appreciation. I’m so in love with the life I live, and I guess the songs are just cries to not lose touch of that,” says LUUNG.
No stranger to collaboration, the song was a lot of fun to put together for MarMar, and working with LUUNG was a highlight.
“I had a lot of fun chopping up his (LUUNG) vocals and using unique effects and reverbs while still giving space for his natural voice to shine through. He’s super talented,” adds MarMar.
This release also follows the success of his recent track “Coexistence,” released on BitBird Records. Since launching the MarMar project in 2020, Mario has released four impressive singles. In 2021, he followed up with two standalone singles and a remix by his friend Easy Morning. In 2023, he partnered with Mammal Sounds Records for the release of “You” and “Veins (feat. Ben Becker).”
