A ‘Group Therapy‘ classic, reimagined: this week, Anjunadeep mainstay Marsh will be making a rare appearance on Anjunabeats with his remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Sun In Your Eyes’. A devoted fan of the trio for many years, Tom’s deep understanding of the full Anjuna sound spectrum allows him to move effortlessly between the world of our sister label and our own.
This new rework transforms the cinematic classic into a darker, progressive journey built for the dancefloor. First unveiled by Tony, Jono and Paavo during their ABGT600 Deep Warmup set in Mexico City, it’s already a firm favourite within the family.
‘It was the morning after a show in Ibiza. I was sitting in the sun, recharging before flying out for my next gig that night, Dubai. For some reason, the ‘Sun In Your Eyes’ melody was looping in my head, but this time it was weaving itself around a new bassline groove I was hearing. I had a long layover on the way to Dubai, so I opened my laptop and chased the idea. Everything poured out effortlessly. I found the right drums almost instantly, and by the time the plane touched down, I had a full remix on my hands.‘ – Marsh
