Berlin-based duo Mat.Joe release ‘Sunflower‘ a collaboration with fellow Berlin-based house masters C’mon and Otistic, a subtle, irresistible understated house track which is available now via Club Sweat. ‘Sunflower’ is a masterclass in minimalism as the house trio step into a deeper melancholic wonderland, featuring hypnotic, clean-cut production, and a dreamy Red Hot Chili Peppers sample, ‘Sunflower‘ is both a head-bopper and mood soother. All three artists utilise deep, groovy bass lines, ethereal melodies, and impressive synths, showcasing a distinctive and signature European sound that finds its home on Club Sweat.
On the track, the collective said, “Starting as another gorgeous day in Berlin, the gang met up to make some beats. Inspired by the world of flowers, sunshine and childhood melodies, the Funkhaus studio was glowing. A deep groove with a crispy and rusty drum foundation delivers you the signature sound of PRÏMA. Coming from a background of breakdancing, rap, and skateboarding, Mat.Joe have embedded themselves in the vast culture of Berlin, where their artistic style is reminiscent of their love and appreciation of the city’s underground nightlife and club culture. Having amassed over 30 million streams across platforms on tracks such as ‘Heart To Find, ‘Conga Rock’, and ‘World In Action’, and played infamous sets at The Lab in NYC, Defected Croatia, and Tomorrowland, the duo have transcended the European scene to become global party starters.
