Lorea Arcelus’ video for Matias Aguayo’s ‘El Internet’, a love letter to the internet’s ability to soundtrack a city from the singular Chilean artist, is streaming now via the Rekids label.
With ‘El Internet’, Arcelus plays with the absurd beauty of overexplaining art. The video follows a casting session where Aguayo tries to decode every beat of the track for the dancer, only to realise that genuine connection comes not from theory, but from letting go. The song explores the internet as the soundtrack to the city, amplified by visual artist Natalia Herc, who infuses the clip with wild, chaotic imagery drawn from internet culture, while Matías Aguayo sings of finding the ideal dance floor.
