Incredible but true – Melanie C and new husband, Australian model Chris Dingwall rushed from their 3-day UK wedding straight to Chinois Ibiza, where the bride proved herself the best of ‘sports’ by DJing at the much loved La Troya residency. The excited July 20th crowd, already enjoying a typical La Troya ‘wickedest of good times’, found themselves part of a globally famous wedding with a chance to catch Melanie’s bouquet!
And it’s all on a specially-shot video, produced by Melanie’s team and filmed by Chinois crew, now out on Melanie’s Instagram for all to see. Chinois are thrilled that the Ibiza cult-favourite club is now a big part of Melanie and Chris’ wedding video.
The happy couple are seen arriving at the club wearing ‘Just Did It’ custom Nike tees, kissing in a vintage Mustang convertible adorned with the traditional shoes, then tracked through the club to Melanie’s place at the decks – and the video includes the iconic bouquet toss. Some of the bride’s family members came along too, and a joyous night was had by all.
Melanie C was booked to play the gig, and play it she did, even her wedding didn’t stop the Ibiza-loving lass from keeping her word. The video was a brilliant tour de force directed by her own creative director Graham Cruz and filmed by Visual Anti, Gui Moraes, and Daniel Coccolo. The wedding itself was covered by British Vogue, with Melanie wearing a stunningly simple dress by bandmate Victoria Beckham.
