Melbourne-based DJ/Producer Daniel Cuda and Toronto’s Vaxx have joined forces for their much-anticipated joint debut on Paolo Martini’s acclaimed Paul’s Boutique Music label with the release of their ‘Set Me Free’ EP.
The EP showcases a captivating blend of dancefloor-focused tracks, led by the title track, ‘Set Me Free.’ This dynamic opener combines infectious rolling grooves, intricate layers of shuffled percussion, and pulsating, deep synths underpinned by an undulating sub-bass and contagious vocal chops.
Closing out the EP is ‘Improvise,’ a deep and driving late-night cut characterised by punchy rhythms, expansive sweeping synths, and rolling sub-bass, punctuated by a series of atmospheric transitions.
