The third Ep of the producer from Italy now available in free download !
UNIVERSE is the third Ep of the Italian producer MET FISH, now exclusively available for free download online. This experiment with music was born in 2007, the year in which the artist decided to follow his passion for electronic music also starting to participate in local events.
After several publications, including demos, remixes and albums, UNIVERSE represents the third entirely instrumental work of the producer: for Met Fish, Universe is an alternative reality where he can express himself freely through music.
Cosmic Silence – The track was conceived a few months before the lockdown, during train journeys and waiting at the station I did the production, editing and pre mix. The actual mixing and mastering was done in the home studio with a digital outboard.
Pleiades – It was produced in full lockdown, the initial idea was to continue to make music for fun, without any expectations. Initially I had some perplexities, I had decided to discard it from the Ep, later, after some intense listening sessions, I was convinced to include it in the project.
Orion – As far as Orion is concerned, I already had in mind what to do, an instrumental that would arouse in the listener a sense of peace. I translated this idea by using a very minimal drum line, leads and pads that give depth to the production.
Andromeda – The instrumental came about as a result of a massive influence of funk and gothic music. In the period in which I was working on this production I was looking for sounds that would allow me to violate the old canons and rules of Trance music.
About Met Fish :
Damiano Capo aka Met Fish, class ’93, is an EDM producer. He approaches Trance music around 2006 listening to Armin Van Buuren and Paul Van Dyk, initially dedicated only to the use of the console. Later, around 2007, with the purchase of the first DAW begins to produce his first works.
In 2009 he recorded his first demo, All Eyes On Met, this demo consists of ten tracks ranging from Psy-Trance, Uplifiting and Acid Trance.
