Metamorfosi’s VA project returns with ‘The Various – Vol. 2’

Following a standout debut VA introduction in December, which closed out the year in style, Joseph Capriati’s Metamorfosi Records returns with the second instalment of ‘The Various’, landing on the label on 3rd July 2026. Continuing its commitment to championing a diverse selection of established names and emerging talent, the ten-track collection showcases the imprint’s evolving sound through a carefully curated selection of infectious peak-time cuts and rolling groovers – all of which have seen heavy plays amongst the label boss’s sets across recent months.

Italian duo Artslaves and UK talent Louis Millne open the VA with ‘Blow Away’, adding an undeniable modern touch to an 80s hit, while Luca Saporito’s ‘U Don’t Ask U Don’t Get’ and White Off’s ‘Ghetto Zion’ propel the release forward with their magnetic basslines, infectious groove work and commanding low-end energy. On a tougher, heads-down tip, ATLAC’s ‘Goes Like This’, Groovboy and Kevinn’s ‘Pakun’, Lost Minds and Alexander M (IT)’s ‘Change Baby’, and Matt Hargan’s ‘Everyday’ channel stripped-back attitude through warped synth work, punchy drums and hypnotic rhythms. Balancing the collection with a more emotive feel, Cristina Lazic and Antonio Romano’s ‘Begin’, Michele Tiberio and Soulmates’ ‘Feel So Good’, and Nautica (UK)’s ‘Buckle Up’ weave together melodic motifs, dreamlike chords and rich musicality that bring together warmth and depth to the project.

Metamorfosi’s ‘ The Various – Vol. 2’ VA drops via Metamorfosi Records on 3rd July 2026.
