On March 7, acclaimed trance duo Mirage—composed of seasoned producers Ferry Tayle and TonKs—makes their label debut on Insomniac’s Dreamstate Records with their latest single, “Take Your Flight.”

With decades of experience behind their respective projects, Mirage is doing its part at showcasing the sounds of past, present and future. “Take Your Flight” is a stunning techno-meets-trance single equipped with groovy drums, swaying pads, and pulsating basslines. The energy skyrockets miles high as they navigate through fast-scudding tones fit for peak-time play, which is balanced by its cinematic soundscapes and dystopic spoken-word narration. Mirage is the brainchild of trance stalwarts Ferry Tayle and TonKs, two experts at constructing timeless trance offerings. The two members originally released their first collab in 2006, only to reunite nearly 20 years later to form their joint alias Mirage in 2023. With an overarching vision to modernize classic tracks with analog synths and drum machines, the potent pairing has since delivered a string of standout releases including “Chimera” and “Resonate,” earning widespread support from industry tastemakers such as Aly & Fila, Solarstone, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Ronski Speed, JES, and XiJaro & Pitch.
Beyond their studio productions, Mirage has been captivating audiences through their immersive live sets. The performances come to life through an array of analog gear, with a special setup that shows them wielding classic hardware synths. A spectacle that’s a true sight to behold, they have been taking to the road with recent appearances at leading festivals such as Luminosity and UnKonscious.

More About Mirage
In 2006, Ferry Tayle & Tonks released their first single, ‘Vol De Nuit,’ on the mythical Bonzai Records. Their record met a very quick success, being supported by Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, and many more.
For almost 17 years, Ferry Tayle continued a solo career, signing on labels like Bonzai Record, Enhanced Recordings, Future Sound of Egypt, and Armada to name a few. TonKs released a couple of remixes & original tracks on Pure Trance & Future Sound of Egypt.
In 2023, Ferry Tayle & TonKs decided to create the project Mirage, to focus mainly on live performance, bringing on stage the hardwares they use to produce their own tracks & remixes. Their first remix of the legendary Orkidea “Purity” immediately reached the Trance Top 50 on Beatport chart.
End of 2023, they released their first original Chimera on Future Sound Of Egypt. In 2024, Mirage took the scene by a storm by writing Lost In Dreams, the Unkonscious Festival Anthem, and revealed for the first time their live performance, headlining the festival.
In June 2024, they performed live at the biggest trance festival Luminosity Beach Festival, playing various originals & remixes including their collaboration with DIM3NSION “Lenda,” followed by a Live performance at the Street Parade in Zurick.
With regular releases on Blackhole Recordings & Future Sound of Egypt, Mirage brings a fresh & rare performance on the trance scene. In 2025, Mirage is working on their first album. The secret of this chemistry is simply more than 20 years of friendship between Ferry Tayle & Tonks.
