British producer Chris Lake has made a remarkable name for himself in the dance music realm by creatively expressing himself through hard hitting house beats. Now, Lake delivers on a new remix for MK’s latest “Body 2 Body” out today (June 28) on Area10/Ultra Music.

“When it comes to modern house masters, MK is among one of the genre’s brightest, and so is British bass-lover Chris Lake. That’s what makes it so exciting that their musical minds came together on a recent remix of MK’s ‘Body 2 Body,’” wrote Kat Bein of Billboard Dance. “The original is a sensual mix of house and R&B, a driving club rhythm with pop-forward brightness. For his part, Lake injects the dance floor tune with darker late-night mood. The beat pumps a little heavier, the atmosphere fills with smoke, and the hook comes in strong with a psychedelic synth roar.”
Look for Lake’s track to also appear in the “Body 2 Body” remix package Area10/Ultra Music is releasing next Friday, July 5. Other artists included in the package are KC Lights, Meduza and Leftwing : Kody. There will also be a 6AM mix from KC Lights who also remixed MK’s global smash “17” to great acclaim and mixes from Treasure Fingers and Nightlapse.
MK’s “Body 2 Body” follows up to last year’s gold-selling single “Back & Forth” which peaked at #12 in the Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart and remains a mainstay on streaming playlists everywhere. To date “Back & Forth” has been streamed over 60 million times on Spotify. This was preceded by 2017’s “17,” Kinchen’s most successful career release, amassing just under 120 million Spotify streams to date. “Body 2 Body” represents the next chapter in the career of this internationally acclaimed multi-talented artist, who continues to ride on his rapid ascent to the pinnacle of the dance music world.
