Danish-born, LA-based producer MORTEN’s hook-heavy chart-toppers have won acclaimfor his underground/mainstage ‘future rave’ genre, while Ukrainian powerhouse duo ARTBAT
have put their unique innovative stamp on melodic house/techno.Together, they are invincible.
‘Culture’: a club-ready melodic house & techno masterpiece combining undulating synth leads, pulsing basslines, growling lower frequencies, moody atmospherics and an exuberantly assertive vocal hook which will have ravers shouting along.
MORTEN is fresh from his set at EDC Korea, with a run of dates including FUN Radio Ibiza, Ultra (Buenos Aires + Peru), and Exposition Park DTLA. Mixmag’s ‘Stars of the Year‘, ARTBAT are currently on their worldwide Summer Tour including stops at EDC Las Vegas, Sonus Festival, Loveland Festival, Tinderbox Festival, Brunch Electronik, and their Upperground showcases in NYC, Warsaw.
‘The collaboration took place in Lisbon during a creative session. We produced the beat to accompany the vocals, and after months of refining and perfecting it’s ready to release!’ Morten says. ‘We’ve been playing the track in our sets over the past few months, and it has been energizing the dance floor. We wrote the lyrics with passion and love, capturing various aspects of culture. This encompasses not only the culture within electronic music but also that found in other genres.’
