Moses Mikheyev teases debut album with playful new single ‘Whatever You Want (Keeping the Neighbors Awake)’
Moses Mikheyev is a Los Angeles-based alternative rock, pop, and folk artist. His music is genre-defying, falling into indie, folk, pop, progressive rock, hard rock, cinematic rock, and even shoegaze and hauntology categories. Now he returns with his latest effort ‘Whatever You Want (Keeping the Neighbors Awake)’, a pulsing pop-rock anthem that flaunts Mikheyev’s versatile artistry.
In his own words about the new single, Mikheyev shared, “It’s a fun, upbeat song perfect for parties, dancing, and road-trips. We wanted to write something that makes people dance, move, and just be happy.”
The new single precedes the release of Mikheyev’s debut album ‘I Only Have a Hundred Years to Love You’, which will be released fall of 2023. The album incorporates extensive use of analog equipment, sometimes intentional low-fi, and tape machines. The album is being produced by Brandon Zano (of the rock band Zaano) and David Gavrishov.
