“Bonker.s” stays true to the promise of its namesake, taking listeners on a brain-bending ride scored by evocative undertones, shadowy textures, and soul-stirring low-end. The understated introduction carries an inviting yet sinister appeal that is enhanced by the murky pads, ringing sirens, gritty vocal samples, and building drums. Looped vocals crescendo into a cavernous descent fueled by reverberating basslines, shuffling drum patterns, entrancing sonic embellishments, and expertly chopped vox. Meticulous and engaging, msft acts as an auditory surgeon, slicing up the track and arranging every element with complete mastery. The hypnotic break allows the intensity to fade and rebuild, giving way to a retooled finale that lays the brain-frying bass on extra thick.

Dark, gritty, and drenched in groove, “Bonker.s” highlights the production prowess of the Italian sensation.

“Sometimes, all you need is just a deep bassline. Very happy to release on NIGHTMODE. I’ve been a fan of the label for a few years and they’re always looking for fresh and unique music, which is a very healthy thing for both artists and the space.”—msft

msft’s new single “Bonker.s” is available on all platforms now via NIGHTMODE.
