Established producer MSHU returns to Mahaba alongside spoken-word maverick Lazarusman with ‘Be’. An accomplished electronic artist who has recently emerged with a new name and new direction, MSHU’s Mahaba debut in 2025 with Ben Westbeech on vocal duty, ‘You & Me’, showcased the producer’s dreamy and expansive sonic in full force.
For his return to the label, MSHU now enlists the help of one of South Africa’s finest, Lazarusman. A talented vocalist, writer and spoken-word artist who has collaborated with a slew of up-and-coming artists, as well as Mahaba boss Kitty Amor, Lazarusman now lends his deft lyrical panache to ‘Be’.
Underpinned by MSHU’s expert production and driving pulsating rhythms that dominate from start to finish, the first Mahaba release of 2026 is a first-rate example of where the imprint is heading.
