deadmau5
Saturday, March 30 @ Ultra Music Festival Live Arena – Cube v3 Worldwide debut
Sunday, March 31 @ Ultra Music Festival Resistance Island – TESTPILOT set

Cube v3–created by deadmau5 with Chris Schroeder of Chris Schroeder Productions, with technical design by Collyns Stenzel, and video content plus additional programming by deadmau5–will make its debut Saturday, March 30 at Ultra Music Festival. The Cube comes to life more now than ever with the semitransparent look and deadmau5 custom content; it will be the most complex production deadmau5 has ever presented. The Cube v3 can change positions from 90 degrees into 45 degrees and rotate 360 degrees with mind-bending content from deadmau5 & his custom touch designer system. This will mark the first time the entire production was designed, fabricated, and produced in-house with deadmau5’s production team at Chris Schroeder Productions. On the following day, March 31, deadmau5 will participate on the Resistance stage under his techno alter ego TESTPILOT.
A little perspective on Cube v3 from deadmau5:

FEED ME
Available for interviews Thursday, March 28 and Friday, March 29
Named after an infamous Hertfordshire pheasant poaching gang of the 1980s, FEED ME comes to Miami in support of his latest album for mau5trap, High Street CreepsIt features 10 tracks which span a variety of styles, a lot of which differ from what he’s created in the past. Handpicking key vocalists for songs such as Rosie Doonan on ‘Feel Love’ as well tracks like ‘Sleepless’, which was almost entirely produced from a Eurorack Modulator, the album has been a long time in the making. A redesign of the Teeth stage and a host of U.S. shows for June are planned as well

THE GUIDANCE
Thursday, March 28 @ Kill Your Idol – #RaveRevival Party
It’s been quite a while since someone really punched a hole in the live performance of underground dance. Whether you call it a stroke of genius or a glimpse at insanity, every witness to THE GUIDANCE “live” agrees this is something that hasn’t been seen in a long time. Born in Chicago and currently residing in Los Angeles, Stefan Pruett adopted the moniker “THE GUIDANCE” in 2015 as a means of healing. Born with a congenital heart condition coupled with a sudden loss of his younger brother at 20 years old, Stefan stalked his way into manifesting a reason to deny death. With a pacemaker acting as a reminding click track of life vs the afterlife, THE GUIDANCE has only waves to make. THE GUIDANCE brings to the table a wide range of electronic genres and decades into a mashup of raw analog synths, playful storytelling and rich melodic dance music. Very quickly by 2016 THE GUIDANCE toured the world as direct support to Crystal Castles on their final run before heading to the studio with producer Jeremy Dawson (Shiny Toy Guns/MXMS) in Los Angeles to hone in the sound of the new record.   The first single “Next Time” was released in late 2018, to a flurry of playlists and blog reviews. In early 2019 THE GUIDANCE signed on with Tommie Sunshine’s Brooklyn Fire Recordings to release the underground gem “She Likes the Dance Music” leading into MMW on March 22, 2019.

Houston-born, Los Angeles-based producer/DJ KAYZO, née Hayden Capuozzo, is one of the fastest-rising electronic artists of this decade. His versatile sound-high-energy melodies bestrewn with pummeling beats-defies genres and challenges sonic boundaries: in one single song, he’ll traverse heavy metal via shredding guitar solos, dubstep-heavy bass, hardstyle-fueled aggression, and hypnotizing psytrance loops. Taking the electronic-rock hybrid to new ground, he remixed the 2000 alt-metal smash hit Last Resort” from nu metal icons Papa Roach. Recent releases include “Wasted Space” with Underoath, “FAKE FAKE FAKE” with XO Sad and “Alone” with Our Last Night.
