Munich based indie poppers Kytes have crafted a nostalgic singalong pop-bop on new track “Runaway”. It is playful and irreverent, with a brazen energy that is reflected in the humorous video clip out today. The band hit the road later this month for a multi date European tour including a debut headline show at The Fiddler in London on 5th March.
Peppered with 80’s nostalgia alongside breezy, bright indie-pop, vocalist Michael Spieler sings about running away from everything and setting his world on fire. They say: “’Runaway’ is the opening cut of our new record ’good luck’. It’s a very special song for us and we feel we’ve captured our live energy on record. In our generation chances can be so plentiful, some of us are overwhelmed and think of running away. The boys have racked up more than 250 shows to date, including festivals such as SXSW (USA), The Great Escape (UK), Frequency (AU), and Melt! (GER).
