MYRNE Starts 2017 With Colossal New Anthem, ‘Altars’
MYRNE – ‘Altars‘ – It has been two months since DJ and producer MYRNE has released a track. Now, he finally makes his return with monstrous and colossal new anthem, ‘Altars.’ Truly making a name for himself in 2016, MYRNE now starts the year 2017 with a bang. What we can only describe as one of his most genre bending productions yet, ‘Altars‘ is an anthem that is likely to be played at festivals all around the world whilst also being enjoyed by any form of bass music lover.
As a track that shows MYRNE‘s years of musical training and production abilities, ‘Altars‘ siphons components from several genres within the eclectic soundscapes that makes up bass. By combining elements of drum and bass, trap and future bass, ‘Altars‘ is able to weave melodic wiry synth breakdowns and dramatic builds in a way that captivates listeners indefinitely. By sampling the ‘Amen Break’ drum loop, MYRNE creates the ability to add new and exhilarating dynamics to ‘Altars‘ increasing the tension throughout the already powerful track even more.
MYRNE first emerged as a DJ and producer towards the end of 2015 with his Mad Decent EP debut of Softsins. Since then he has done nothing but strengthen his ability to create powerful music and strengthen a name for himself. Rounding off his South East Asia tour, performing at numerous ULTRA events worldwide and gaining support from EDM giants Diplo, The Chainsmokers and Major Lazer, 2016 showed to be a year filled with milestones for the ever-fast growing rising artist’s career.
