Los Angeles, CA – Friday, June 26 – Powerhouse producers Odd Mob and Walker & Royce team up to release their new single “Can’t Say Nah” via Insomniac Records, enlisting the vocal talents of LA’s lyricist, poet and singer-songwriter Benni Ola.
Brisbane’s Odd Mob is an Australian producer who has taken the house music scene by storm with a prolific catalog characterized by endless innovation, explosive energy, and an eclectic, unconventional spirit that always goes against the grain.
Shaped by New York’s dance music scene, Walker & Royce are a bicoastal tech-house music producer duo renowned for their idiosyncratic and timeless grooves. Their style spans indie dance, deep house, and various shades of underground-informed rhythms.
“Can’t Say Nah” is a deep tech collaboration that explores the tension of a difficult-to-resist attraction. Benni Ola’s vocals bring a sense of emotion and conflict, while crisp percussion, dog bark samples, and layered synth textures help shape the track’s irresistible energy.
Odd Mob previously graced the label with his lauded ‘The Unexplained’ EP in 2024, as part of his HYPERBEAM project with OMNOM, and the subsequent single “System” from last year, which has pulled in 5.57M streams to date, along with airplay on several leading radio outlets, and tastemaker support from Dom Dolla, Martin Garrix, MEDUZA, Tiesto, Foster The People, NERO, Devault.
Odd Mob is currently on a North American Tour including stops at HARD Summer, Electric Forest, Escapade, Beyond Wonderland at the Gorge, Summer of Sound, FVDED in the Park, Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, Outside Lands, ARC Music Festival, and an upcoming Australia 2.0 headline Tour in the Fall.
Walker & Royce appeared on the label last year with singles “Death By Love” and “Fee Fi Fo Fum.” They hosted their sold-out LA headline show at Grand Park around the release, and have upcoming tour dates lined up at Day Trip Seattle, ARC Music Festival, Elements Music & Arts Festival, The Summer Edit Kelowna, Dirtybird x Northern Nights, Granary Open Air, Escapade, a co-headline with Dombresky at Mission Ballroom, and headline shows at Club Space, Concourse Project, Commonwealth Bar Calgary, and The Ritz Ybor.
