On the back of the Fideles’ version of ‘Otherside’, German electronic musician and singer-songwriter hyphenate Monolink (Steffen Linck) returns with a fresh new remix off his highly anticipated second album ‘Under Darkening Skies’ (Embassy One). This time around the album’s dark horse ‘Don’t Hold Back’ – with its swirling pads, juddering basslines, and ruminative lyrics – turns into a progressive, upbeat dance-floor filler in the hands of Yotto, the head of Odd One Out renowned for his reworks of Gorillaz, Coldplay, Faithless, Röyksopp, and most recently, Orbital’s ecstatic 1991 tune ‘Belfast’.

Yotto (born Otto Yliperttula) is a Finnish producer who put himself on the global EDM map with his confident debut EP ‘Memento/Azzuro. From there Yliperttula has gone on to launch Odd One Out and play to not one but two sold-out houses at Electric Brixton, London, in March 2022. He is currently gearing up for an Australian tour in mid-September.
