Twelve tracks, a multitude of influences, one timeless body of work. After producing hit after hit for Anjunabeats over the past two decades, Oliver Smith now shares his much-anticipated debut album ‘Footprints’.
The catchy basslines, moments of house and soaring trance on ‘Footprints’ exemplify everything we’ve come to love from Olie’s sound so far, while also treading new ground (pun not intended). He has collaborated with a host of talented singers and songwriters, including Tailor, Diana Miro, Benjamin Roustaing, Midnite Amity and Amy J Pryce of ‘Lovingly’ fame to make this a fabulously diverse and upbeat body of work.
“I wanted to go beyond club music and tell real stories, so I collaborated with some incredible singers and songwriters who brought a whole new dimension to the project… I think people will recognise the thread that connects all my releases, and hopefully, they’ll enjoy the new directions I’ve explored as well.”

Keen to hear about the early days of Smith & Pledger, or how Olie finished his album on a London bus? How about his favourite ‘Rude Boyz’ memories with Andrew Bayer or his thoughts on Above & Beyond’s lunch choices?
