French DJ and producer Pallace makes his debut on TSHA’s Jackfruit imprint with the vibrant ‘Go Home / OK, Busy Boy’, arriving on July 10.
Opening cut ‘Go Home’ is an infectious slice of uplifting house music with a raw emotional pull in the female vocal. Tight drum fills build the pressure while atmospheric breakdowns tease and please, but it’s the colourful retro-neon synth loops that really define this irresistible party-starter. ‘OK, Busy Boy’ keeps the momentum flowing with buoyant rhythms, supple house grooves and an effortless sense of optimism. Velvety synth textures add warmth and colour before giving way to a balmy, euphoric breakdown.
Hailing from Paris, Pallace first emerged through the nu-disco scene before evolving his sound into a colourful, contemporary take on classic 90s house. His back catalogue includes acclaimed releases on Columbia alongside Zimmer, while his music has also featured in the hit Netflix series Emily In Paris. Now, Pallace marks a key moment with his debut EP on TSHA’s Jackfruit imprint.
