Paul Kalkbrenner is releasing a new album, Arriving 10th October via Sony Music, ‘The Essence’ is the German artist’s first LP since 2018’s ‘Parts of Life’ and is teased by first single ‘Ninety – Two’.
‘Ninety – Two’ features a vocal sample “pulled straight from the collective rave memory” and is described in as “a piece of scene history in a new context”.
Speaking about the album, Kalkbrenner said: “It’s about the essential. This is an album I can truly stand behind. I consider it my best. Sure, there may be more well-known hits on my other albums, but there were always two or three filler tracks. This one doesn’t have a single filler. Not even a filler moment!”
