Kevin Knapp and Hutch Knapp, aka Hutchtastic, the creative forces behind Plump Records, are back with their third collaboration, ‘Nobody Funk With Us,’ dropping on 14th February to bring some Valentine’s magic. True to its title, ‘Nobody Funk With Us’ oozes unapologetic confidence and stands strong against the haters. With its powerful lyrics, fizzy synth lines, and skippy pounding beats, it becomes an anthem of self-love and unity, a perfect reflection of Plump Records’ inclusive ethos.
Knapp has worked with the likes of Richy Ahmed and Hannah Wants, with his pioneering sound landing on labels such as Cuttin’ Headz, Hottrax, Sola, and Dirtybird. Hutchtastic, a visual artist, vocalist, and DJ/producer, channels their creativity into bold productions, including starring in the music videos for their collaborations with Kevin Knapp on ‘Disruption’ and their own track ‘I’m Hutchtastic,’ both released on Plump Records. Committed to creating a space for unity, joy, pleasure and self-expression, the recently married couple continues to build Plump Records as a platform where everyone can embrace who they are freely.
