Manics, an indie dance group comprising Jordan Deherrera and Chris Sanders, have previously appeared on Dim Mak Records, Club Sweat, and South Of Saturn, chalking up a host of acclaimed festival and gig appearances for over a decade and picking up support from the likes of Solomun, Calvin Harris, Michael Bibi, Claptone, Chris Lake, and many more.
On their latest ‘Clockwerk EP’, the Los Angeles duo showcase their darker side, pulling influence from their love of UK new wave and post punk. Written completely on analog synths (including the iconic robot voice in the breakdown), this visceral anthem-in-the-making is meant for alternative dance floors. On the flip, ‘24 Hour Party People’ is an ode to Hacienda nights and burgeoning rave culture, featuring original vocoder, driving bass lines and ethereal melodies to round out another stellar release from the duo.
