Heading up the Tronic imprint, which he founded in 1995, Christian Smith has been at the cutting edge of House and Techno for close to three decades with releases on Cocoon, Drumcode, Plus8, Bedrock and many more. His Tronic label has featured releases from ANNA, Paco Osuna, Kaiserdisco, and Enrico Sangiuliano, amongst others.
On his latest release, Smith returns to Patrick Topping’s Trick label following his 2022 EP ‘Infatuate’ with another set of his killer productions. ‘Vortex’ leads the EP with rocking bass and soaring sirens for a propulsive cut, before ‘Nu Style’ closes out proceedings with chunky drums and vocal samples.
