Italian stalwart Preziosio has an unrivalled discography of world-class hits to his name, dating back to the late 90’s. Embarking on his latest venture into the world of pop/dance crossovers, Prezioso teams up with esteemed producer and vocalist Laurell for their highly-anticipated summer anthem “Havana”. Taking inspiration from the timeless classic, “Tom’s Diner” by Suzanne Vega and DNA, the track opens with its iconic melodic refrain; a catchy top-line that serves as the track’s founding influence. Laurell’s effortless vocal offering brings the melody into a hyper-charged and contemporary setting, rife with energy and a feel-good spirit from start to finish. Across its almost 3-minute run-time, we’re graced with a crisp layer of percussion above a dance-inducing bass sequence, courtesy of the production maestro, Prezioso. Boasting an undeniable groove throughout, the upbeat cut is a sure-fire hit for both radio and mainstages alike, and will no doubt get bodies moving on the dancefloor. A playful summer anthem, “Havana” gives yet further insight into Prezioso’s immensely versatile production talents, as well as his abilities to maintain relevance in our ever-evolving world of music.
