Continuing to spotlight exciting international talent, Solid Grooves Raw introduces another new name to its catalogue with the arrival of Argentina’s Prodot. Hailing from Villa Carlos Paz in Córdoba, the emerging South American DJ/producer draws from house music’s roots and the intricate textures of minimal-leaning productions. With influences spanning jazz, ambient, hip-hop, funk, and beyond, his productions reflect a diverse musical palette while remaining grounded in club functionality – a sound he now showcases in full with his first outing for the UK imprint.
‘I Just’ captures that balance with a stripped-back yet weighty groove at its core. Rolling low-end pressure and skippy percussion form the backbone, while resonant synths add depth without distracting from its dancefloor focus. As a label debut and his first step into the Solid Grooves universe, the release marks a confident introduction to an artist beginning to carve out his space within the global underground.
