Prunk unveils sophomore album ‘Footprints’, capturing the people, places and sounds that have shaped his journey.

For the past 20 years, Prunk has been developing a distinct voice within house music, rooted in groove, feeling and a deep connection to the dancefloor. His latest chapter arrives following his biggest summer to date, with his PIV Ibiza residency and label showcases across Amsterdam, Miami, Santiago and London reflecting the global community that has grown around his sound. Alongside his own productions, Prunk has built PIV into a respected platform for house music, championing artists from across the world and supporting the next generation of talent through mentorship, collaboration and shared knowledge – all while pursuing his vision of creating ‘modern classics’.

‘Footprints’ represents a return to that foundation. Following the more reflective look at his influences on his debut LP ‘Le Funk’ in 2023, his second album captures the moments that have shaped the years since: the records, collaborations, places and people that have become part of his story. Rather than looking backwards, the album reflects where those influences have taken him and the sound that has emerged along the way.

Across the album, Prunk brings together collaborators who each represent a different connection within his musical world. From long-standing relationships to new creative exchanges, every contribution adds another layer to the wider picture – a project not shaped around a single moment, but around the many experiences that continue to influence his approach. Opening with ‘Eivissa’, a nod to the island home to countless dancefloor memories, ‘Footprints’ moves through a wide spectrum of moods, from soulful vocal records and uplifting grooves to deeper, late-night cuts.

The first glimpse of the project arrived this summer with ‘I Want Your Love’, a collaboration with Riva Starr, featuring Danny Losito. Combining classic touches and a timeless vocal, the track introduced the spirit of the album while quickly becoming a standout for DJs worldwide. At the heart of the LP sits ‘Footprints’ featuring Rona Ray, an emotive collaboration that captures the warmth and musicality running throughout the project. Elsewhere, solo productions sit alongside further collaborations such as ‘Earth’ with Verso, ‘Tell You’ with Retrouve, and ‘Checking You Out’ with Darius Syrossian, revealing different sides, moving between silky, rich textures and more stripped-back, club-led grooves. Alongside the physical release, the album also extends with three digital-only additions: ‘The Time Is Now’, ‘All The Time’ and ‘Running’.

Ultimately, ‘Footprints’ is a reflection of everything that has shaped Prunk’s relationship with house music: the sounds that inspired him, the people he has met along the way and the moments that continue to influence where he goes next. Every track carries a piece of that story – another footprint left behind.

Prunk ‘Footprints’ (LP) drops via PIV on 11th September 2026.
