Stockpiled with loads of attitude, “Axe” is an indie dance club weapon that strikes with undeniable impact. Flaunting a provoking vocal hook sizzling with self-assurance, the track grinds its way through the space unapologetically. The sharp-tongued loops keep the intensity roaring as the number rolls through buzzing basslines, short-tailed plucks, shuffling drum work, panning vox, and tension-setting pads.
Describing the overall tone of their new collab, REBRN says, “‘Faith’ is a powerful track to drop on the dancefloor when you want to take the crowds high.”
Calling upon a metaphor to sum up the single, Oppaacha adds: “If an axe strike were a song, it would hit just as loud and mercilessly.”
REBRN is an up-and-coming house producer who has been experimenting with psychedelic sounds across an array of genres, including indie dance, deep house, and funky melodic house.
