The five track collection explores and combines unexpected sounds and genres, from the latin-influenced bass jam “Baja” to the heavy-hitting, mechanical “Loboz” and the slow buildup to the murderous drop on “Heat.”
The “Diablo” EP features collaborations with ETC!ETC!, Rawtek, Sliink, BLANK, Kaku and B!tch Be Cool, which complement its appeal to a variety of audiences.
Rell has certainly caught the attention of Pasquale Rotellla and his Insomniac brand, which has expanded to become a destination for all genres of electronic music and is continuously evolving with the scene. Rell the Soundbender is a fitting addition to the Insomniac family, as his sound is uncategorizable but seamlessly crafted, and certainly not for the faint of heart.
