Starting out as a local DJ in her hometown of Niagara Falls, she was still a teen when she decided that music production was the path she would take. After studying sound design extensively at home and psychology as an aid to her creative process, her experimentation, dedication and hard work paid off in paving the way for a long career ahead as a highly regarded producer of down tempo soundscapes. Producing state of the art, genre-bending works, while striking a sharp balance between bass heavy and minimal tech compositions, she oozes originality and stands shoulder to shoulder with the very best in the electronic music scene. Certain Kind Of Magiccaptures her ever-evolving and idiosyncratic electro sound. On this turn, in addition to her solo tracks she taps new artists such as 1788-L, Deathpact, Kotek, 13 and Fytch adding to the battery of her menacing productions.

REZZ ANNOUNCES
NEW TOUR DATES CONFIRMED FOR
RED ROCKS, BOSTON, MINNEAPOLIS, HOUSTON
AND THE LEGENDARY SHRINE IN LOS ANGELES
NEW SINGLE “WITCHING HOUR” OUT NOW
DUE OUT AUGUST 3 ON mau5trap
“Witching Hour” has received critical acclaim in the blogsphere:
“The album includes four collaborations, one of which is with 1788-L who
Billboard Dance showcased in its monthly
Ones To Watch discovery series. ‘Witching Hour’ follows suit with Rezz’s hypnotic and trippy style, adding some haunting sonic elements prime for Halloween hours.
“
– David Rishty, Billboard Dance (6/4)
“”Witching Hour” is a stellar introduction to the new Rezz sound on the album, mixing the sound that made her so popular in the first place with a sort of invigorated drive and purpose. The same kind of textured bass and ominous synths so ever-present in her music are present in full force, unleashing the entire might of her production knowledge.”
— Matthew Meadow, YourEDM (6/4)
“Few artists have come onto the electronic music scene and immediately entrenched themselves as an awesome talent quite like REZZ was able. The superstar producer was famously spotted early by mau5trap and has only made her star rise with each successive release that hits the bullseye of technical proficiency and broad appeal. Fans have a lot to get excited about from REZZ recently, with her recently announced sophomore LP, Certain Kind of Magicset for release in August and an upcoming collaboration with mau5trap head honcho, deadmau5. Now, she’s pulled back the curtain a bit more with a new single, “Witching Hour.” REZZ opts for spidery, skittering percussion and reverb-heavy synth lines to set a fitting ominous mood. Over a thudding kick drum, basses morph from liquid abstractions to serrated waves at will, and act as proof that
the producer isn’t slowing down one bit.”
— Michael Cooper, Dancing Astronaut (6/4)
“‘Witching Hour’ starts off with skeletal, bare bones (PUN!) drums that immediately set the mood. Then when the drop comes in, it is an instant through back to the golden days of UK garage and dubstep. REZZ has once again taken some of the best qualities of the best and but her own signature spin on it. This is some seriously great stuff.”
– EDM Sauce (6/4)
“A haunting melody greets you. Sinister sounds lead the way, and you don’t feel quite alone. REZZ lurks through the soundscape. She embeds herself into the song with a cryptic style that’s unmistakably hers. A swift ominous crescendo signals the assault. The bass kicks in. It roars. Snarls. You’re trapped in Rezz’s world. She pulls the strings here, sprinkling the pulsating bass with dark overtones for good measure. A relentless onslaught of sound straight out of the underworld…If “Witching Hour” is any indication, we’re in for quite a ride.”
– Saad Masood, EDM.com (6/4)
“‘Witching Hour’ is a menacing, dark single showcasing the signature REZZ sound
that we’ve come to love so much over the years. “
– Max Chung, Run The Trap (6/4)
“Witching Hour” is a booming, satanic piece of production…”
