From knowing every song on the radio as a kid, to one day creating his own, Rico 56 has shown time and time again with every release, that he has the drive and passion to put all the cards on the table. Since his first release in 2021, he has shown versatility and emotion in any genre he tackles, from Experimental to Chill, and Deep House to Indie, showing he doesn’t plan on setting any boundaries. Growing up with his father, he was raised around a multitude of music, taking inspiration from the likes of City and Colour , Alter Bridge and Matthew Good Band , and various other energies. After the loss of his mother, he didn’t feel he had an outlet to express himself, spending many months in the wrong energy, Rico finally found himself creating music with friends from school, most notably, borne. “I never really pictured myself creating music, didn’t think i had the mindset for it, didn’t feel creative. After seeing a few friends getting into music, I threw myself into the vocalist world. Now, a year later I find myself learning how to produce, learning the piano and guitar, and striving to get my voice to its peak.” Spending countless hours a day making music, through his own self teachings, Rico is eager to share his future sound with anybody that may feel similar emotions.
