In the heart of Tia Kelley, the LA-based producer and DJ who goes by Dekerakt, darkness represents opportunity. An empty space free of boundaries. Genres, classifications, categorizations. They don’t exist in the dark, and thus play no role in her music. Tia has conjured sounds in the range of trap, dubstep, witch house, and pop punk, but not one of her tracks fit those titles precisely.
