Originally from Perth, Australia, Honey B Sweet spends much of her time working in California, refining her unforgettable production style. Delving into a unique mixture of genres and styles, the entrepreneurial singer, songwriter and producer is quickly rising in the global scene.

Born in Illinois and currently based just outside of Chicago, DJ G-String is a singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer who discovered a love for creating music at a young age, saving up to buy her first set of turntables at only 18. Her current influences draw us into the electronic world, as she cites the likes of Kaskade, CamelPhat and Flume. However, the remix of ‘No One Ever Said with Honey B Sweet’ calls to mind the works of iconic tropical-house artists such as Robin Schulz, Klingande and Bakermat.

It’s difficult to deny the power of irresistible female vocals meeting a vibrant, bass-thumping beat. DJ G-String transforms her own work, metaphorically letting her hair down and incorporating playful electronic embellishments fit for the Bahamas while still keeping the original “in-your-face” attitude that captured the attention of listeners globally.

Speaking of the remix, DJ G-String tells us: “This remix was inspired by listening to deep house music actually. I wanted a chill feel approach but still some pop style as well. I also wanted to incorporate my 80’s style synths to it as well, so I think it turned out well.”
