“Sweet Descent” marks the third release by RON WITH LEEDS on their own label SPHERE:16 – an emotionally charged track that blends electronic elegance with deep introspection. Somewhere between desire and disorientation, the sound unfolds with a pulse that moves both body and soul.
Lyrically, “Sweet Descent” continues the emotional storyline that began with the duo’s label debut single “Prisoned”. While “Prisoned” captured the feeling of being trapped in a golden cage – where appearances deceive and inner freedom is missing – “Sweet Descent” dives deeper: into the painful beauty of letting go, exposing the paradox of attachment and downfall.
“Sweet Descent” is hypnotic, vulnerable, and full of energy – a soundtrack for the night, when emotion and reason fall out of sync.
Ron with Leeds consists of two German Producers / DJs and is based in the heart of the Ruhr-area in WestGermany. They met each other in 2004 on an internet-platform and in the beginning they just wanted to exchange and collect ideas on how to produce good music. Moreover, they wanted to discover the best ways of presenting music as a DJ.
Originally one head produced Ambient and Trance while the other was more into House & Electro. The common work began in a very experimental way and they combined different styles into a mix which could be described as a balance somewhere between Hardtrance and Techno.
It took several years until they found their perfect style – and in the end it was the love for Trance-music which let them found the project Ron with Leeds.
