Rony Rex returns with a powerful dance record featuring TT The Artist and remixes from Joshua James

Rony Rex, known for his emphatic DJ sets and colourful production has returned with a powerful dance record with the Club Queen, TT The Artist.

Rony Rex has seen international acclaim with the Finnish DJ getting plays on BBC Radio 1 and a Billboard Dance chart slot in 2019. With other songs featured on Love Island, Nickelodeon and being the soundtrack to Stella McCartney’s catwalk at Paris Fashion Week, Rony Rex’s name acts as a stamp of quality.

If you had to choose a feature for Rony Rex, you’d be hard pressed to find a better fit than TT The Artist. The rapper, director and artist takes inspiration from surrealism, black cinema and sci-fi with a focus on expanding the narrative of women of colour, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ through her various art forms.

The pair’s eccentric creativity flows through this song in bounds – intense, rude and bouncing from start to finish. TT’s direct vocals and Rony’s fist pumping beat create a beautiful blend of energy  and electricity – enough to grab anyone from their mundane life and propel them into a trance of female empowerment.

Building and dying, teasing your ears until the second before the chorus’, you are left with a beautifully deep and structured bass line to finish off which makes you want to restart it instantly. The vocal tone suits the music perfectly with it adding even more intensity and power to the massive bass and pounding drums.

On remix duty is Joshua James (Rinse FM/Sink the Pink) who delivers a throbbing, no nonsense techno rework made for the late nights and early mornings, whatever your preference.
