Rony Seikaly Drops New Single: I’m OK With Yesterday feat. Vossae

Latest Release from Forthcoming Album “Moonwalk” on his Label STRIDE

Rony Seikaly – who lives up to his nickname The Spin Doctor on both the NBA hardcourt and behind the DJ Booth – has today unleashed a new single: I’m OK With Yesterday feat. Vossae. This is the latest release from his forthcoming album Moonwalk, which is expected to drop in full in April on his label STRIDE.

‘I’m OK With Yesterday’ featuring Vossae is a driving cut that grips you from the get-go, merging a relentless low end with delicate, emotive vocal delivery from the Miami duo. Soft chimes and bright synth lines complement the singers, neatly juxtaposed with the bass. On the latest release from Moonwalk, Rony comes full circle, integrating his basketball past with his present.

Rony announced his debut album Moonwalk back in September. He’s released four singles from the project thus far: Safari, Envidia feat. Sasha, Shameless and Won’t Stop Now feat. Diddy

Moonwalk signifies Rony Seikaly’s standing as an artist who does his own thing regardless of what’s considered hot. It’s an open invitation to anyone who’s feeling it, to join him, to leave their cares behind and visit a place where we’re all in unison, as one, on the dance floor. It’s an expedition, a trip, to a destination where you can be free of the trappings of modern life, and all that matters is being yourself and enjoying the pure unadulterated sense of liberation that comes with being in the moment. It’s about emotion, rhythm, self-expression, communion, and a deeply rooted understanding of feeling. Open your heart and mind, and join Rony on a Moonwalk to paradise…
