Follows Double 2023 Grammy Nomination for Best Dance / Electronic Album for ‘Surrender’ and Best Dance / Electronic Recording for ‘On My Knees’

Today RÜFÜS DU SOL cap off their most ambitious year yet with the release of the live version of Grammy nominated single ‘On My Knees’ captured from their sold out performance at The Gorge Amphitheatre in October. Stream ‘On My Knees (Live At The Gorge)’ on all audio platforms and watch the performance on the band’s YouTube channel here

This release acts as a celebration of the band’s double 2023 Grammy nomination of ‘On My Knees’ as Best Dance / Electronic Recording, a category that earned them their first Grammy win earlier this year, and their ‘Surrender’ album for Best Dance / Electronic Album. This follows the band’s fifth ARIA win for Best Produced Album last month.

The band’s touring prowess reached new heights in 2023, with their ‘Surrender’ live show touching the lives of fans globally from The Gorge to the Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks to New York’s Forrest Hill, onwards to Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Cologne, and many other European headlining plays. RÜFÜS also sold-out their own Gunnersbury Park London day-festival and took over festival mainstages like Budapest’s Sziget Festival and Poland’s Fest Festival.

Simultaneously this year saw the RÜFÜS DU SOL DJ Set dominate the international spotlight, making them the only act in the world that can sell out stadiums then command the world’s most credible DJ booths like Circo Loco at DC-10, Afterlife at Hi Ibiza, and Barcelona’s Brunch in the Park amongst many others.

This explosive year concluded with a series of plays in Australia & New Zealand, seeing the band welcomed home by sold-out crowds in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth over the past six weeks.

Primed for the next chapter of the RÜFÜS journey, the group looks forward to working on new music at the turn of the year before returning to their own boutique festival, Sundream, debuting at a new location this coming May in San José del Cabo, Mexico.

One can only guess what the future holds for the world’s preeminent live-electronic act, but if history is any indicator, it will be a path adorned with global admiration and an unrelenting dedication to their craft.
