Initially, BOY gives a nod to old-school house elements with its diva style vocal that gently morphs it into a future house anthem. Whizzing basslines and warping synths build throughout, leading into a cosmic drop made for the dance floor and beyond.
“I’m absolutely in love with this track!” Sagan explains, “I’ve had the vocals for a couple of years before I got the right inspiration for it. Now every time I listen to ‘BOY’ – either when I’m playing a show or when I go for a run – I get absolutely different emotions each time.”
Sagan’s rise since 2015 is one to be admired, initially making a name for himself with breakthrough track Don’t Be So Shy and future house hits Boomers and Happiness creating a hype amongst fellow DJs and fans.
Don’t Be So Shy earned Sagan 2 million Soundcloud listeners, whilst Boomers received DJ support from the likes of Martin Garrix Dimitri Vegas & LikeMike, R3HAB and Don Diablo.
Happiness sky-rocketed Sagan’s success, racking up over 1.5 million Spotify plays, whilst Tell My Why soared even higher with 2.5 million streams. Now with Tiësto championing the producer, we can’t wait to see what else Sagan has lined up next.
