With zero warning, the UKG star drops a completely secret, club-ready follow-up to 2025’s ‘Same Day Cleaning.’

In a shocking move that caught the global electronic music community entirely off guard, Sammy Virji has released a surprise new album today titled Open Late.

Without a single cryptic teaser, promotional rollout, or prior indication that a new project was even in development, the UKG producer delivered his closely guarded follow-up to the celebrated 2025 album Same Day Cleaning – fully self-released and boasting a full tracklist of previously unheard music. The eight-track album Open Late, featuring guest appearances from Joy (Anonymous), Hans Glader, and Wet, serves as an infecious homage to club culture, crafted in green rooms, hotels, and airports throughout his ceasless touring schedule.

Explaining the vision behind this brand-new collection of music, Virji shared:

The whole idea of the album is that it’s a journey through what it’s like to be at the rave / club when I’m playing. There are certain elements in the records like weird key changes and moments in the breakdowns that are supposed to mimic live moments in my sets.

The secret was finally revealed during a last-minute pop-up party at London’s 93 Feet East today, where attendees learned the unreleased tracks they were experiencing were hitting global streaming platforms exactly as the event concluded.

This weekend, Virji heads straight to the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) where will perform a highly anticipated b2b set with Mochakk at The Loft on Friday, followed by a massive headline show at Gashouder on Saturday.
