SEBS releases new single ‘Act Up’ on TSZR

The 21-year-old Austin producer lands on TSZR with a new club-ready single already earning support from SOSA and Solardo.

At just 21 years old, Austin-based DJ and producer SEBS is moving quickly. His latest single, ‘Act Up,’ arrives on TSZR as the next step in a breakout run that has seen his music move from bedroom sessions to some of the world’s biggest dance floors.

The release follows ‘Work It,’ his Atlantic Records UK single that became a major turning point in his rise. The track reached No. 1 on Beatport and amassed more than 500,000 streams in its opening week, building on a run of releases for labels including Nervous Records and Insomniac.

With ‘Act Up,’ SEBS carries that momentum into another direct, high-energy record designed to make an immediate impact in the club. The track has already picked up early support from SOSA and Solardo, adding to a growing list of influential artists backing his productions.

That wider support has been central to SEBS’s rapid ascent. His music has been championed by names including Solomun, Michael Bibi, Mau P, Joseph Capriati, Prospa and Josh Baker, helping turn the young producer into one of the more closely watched new artists emerging from the US electronic scene.

The speed of that rise is especially striking given how recently SEBS was still balancing music with school. Only months ago, he was skipping classes to spend more time producing in his bedroom, while taking promotion into his own hands by writing letters and personally handing USBs to artists he admired.

Those efforts have since translated into a growing international presence. Recent appearances have included The Concourse Project alongside Josh Baker and You&Me at Amnesia Ibiza, while forthcoming dates include Prospa’s Prophecy show at Denver’s Mission Ballroom, followed by November appearances with Josh Baker and Marsolo in Los Angeles and San Diego.

There is more new music on the way too, including a forthcoming release on Solomun’s Diynamic, as SEBS continues to build on his recent momentum.

For now, “Act Up” offers another snapshot of an artist whose trajectory is accelerating fast: confident, immediate and increasingly visible both in the booth and on the dance floor.
