Seddig, Bremen-born and Berlin-based, returns to Ben Sims’ Symbolism imprint with the ‘Katharsis’ EP on April 10th, following 2024’s ‘Hypersolar’ on Symbolism and 2025’s ‘Neodyne’ on Hardgroove, as well as a blistering live set for Symbolism @ Input in Barcelona earlier this year. Known for detailed yet raw techno (having trained under Ableton-creator Robert Henke), Seddig’s productions on Mind Medizin, Fides, Nechto, and Analog Solutions have earned praise from a broad range of DJs, including Luke Slater, James Ruskin, DJ Bone, Jako Jako, GiGI FM, and Vladimir Ivkovic.
Seddig’s ‘Katharsis’ EP, a five-tracker that takes no prisoners throughout, opens with the tough, perpetually evolving peak-team title track before the dreamstate vibe of ‘Unfazed’ trips things out. ‘Turbulence’, a gutsy exercise in dischordant dance, splits the EP before the visceral, tunnelling power of closers ‘Sixstep’ and ‘Prism’ provide a closing one-two.
